Trondheim Jazz festival is built around the exciting jazz scene in Trondheim and the world renowned jazzcourse at NTNU Department of Music.

Trondheim Jazz festival features mainly contemporary and exiting Scandinavian and European jazz. The festival focus particularly on the interaction between the performers and the audience. The Fokus lectures has grown an important part of the festival program.

In October the Jazzfest Ung is arranged. A vibrant festival on the side for aspiring jazz musicians and a young audience (Jazzfest Ung).
